Here are some photos I took in the Texas republic.

Butia x Jubaea, San Antonio Botanical Garden
My last day in Texas, we went to the San Antonio Botanical Garden. They had a nice collection of palms, including this rare specimen.
Pride of Barbados
In tropical countries, Caesalpina never dies to the ground. However, in Texas it does and returns as a wonderful warm-season perennial.
Brahea armata
San Antonio's mild climate and low rainfall are perfect for Brahea armata.
Chamaerops humilis
San Antonio's climate is equally perfect for Chamaerops.
Unidentified Sabal sp. and Trachycarpus
Note the ivy covering the Trachycarpus trunk. Neither palm was identified.
